Title: Biomechanical parameters affecting performance in javelin throw - literary research Objectives: The main aim of this work is to study scientific and professional publications and articles concerning biomechanical analysis of javelin throw. From these sources find out which parameters affecting performance are measured in biomechanical analysis. Another objective is to determine the frequency of these parameters and other aspects that could affect measurement results. Methods: The bachelor thesis is processed by the method of literary research from available foreign sources. The research part summarizes all the theoretical background and findings that deal with the basic concepts of biomechanics and technique of javelin throw. Comparison was used to compare scientific articles. Results: Based on the processing the available sources, a comprehensive overview of the issue of javelin throw biomechanics was created. This work describes parameters that influence performance and compares results of mentioned authors. Other aspects have been identified that could affect analysis results such as gender, performance class, opportunity, or the type of analysis.
